I lost my connections with all the camps I played at last year, so maybe this post will help again.

I am looking to dj again out on the playa.
I play various things, depending on what you request.

Mainly Electro/Acid House, Breakbeats, and Drum N Bass.

I have been working really hard this past year producing my own tracks, and hope to share those with everyone on the playa.

Some of them are on my myspace player (http://www.myspace.com/aurei )... but not all the most recent work. So if you would like a demo of all the most recent tracks I have produced in a mix, or a demo of some other music I play, please email me @ djaurei@gmail.com.

I've had three Honorable Mentions for breakbeat remixes I did from Bitstream Dream, and Peak Hour Music.

I produce a lot of Electro House with Acid Influence.

This event will be happening Sunday June 24th from 10-4PM at Digiman Photography
on Longley Lane in Reno. Everyone is invited to scour your garages and storage units
for all that great Burner related stuff that you just are not going to use any more.
Tents, clothes, sleeping bags, rugs, hats, cookwear, burner make-up, heck....even
old re-bar!! Be Green this year and re-cycle all your playa crap and make some
money doing it. We all could use some cash to buy stuff that is not recyclable...like
alcohol! If you just want to drop off your stuff and let us sell it (minus a paltry 10%
commission to help out our camp,Mohammeds Mini Martini and Erotica) you can bring
your stuff by between 9 and 10 on Sunday morning, I will also be selling some lit clothing
that I will be making just forthis event(furry lit hats, jackets etc.). There will be a barbeque
and bands and maybe even beer. Beer, Barbeque,Bands and Burner junk,what more could

Well its that time again....So I was wondering what ya'lls plan was for the journey to BM this year. I was lucky enough to be in the presence of Alan for the Llama wedding down in SB last month. But we didnt really talk a lot about Burning Man and what your group is up to. So what is the Buddha crew's plan for this year? Art? Where? What are you kids up to before hand in Tahoe? I am hopefully (fingers crossed) coming from New Zealand around the 25th with my partner, and from there I am not sure. Hopefully we will get an RV and find you guys at some point.

Introducing The Llama Tribe

This is a post I have been meaning to do for quite some time now, but lagged on it.
Some of you already know us from last years Burn. We are the La Conchita Llama Tribe. A few of our friends are Allen, Alesha, and T-Dup.This year we are camping with our friends The Bumping Buddha Soundship crew from Lake Tahoe.
The Llama Tribe was started in La Conchita, and was founded by Charlie Womack (aka.Charlie Llama). Our crew is composed of many types of people, artists, builders, musicians, performers, fire spinners and DJs. Most of which, dont know how to use the internet. We are compassionate, loving people whos friendship is written in stone. We know how to have a blast!! This year will be dedicated to our friends we lost in the mudslide this year, including our fellow Burner Charlie Llama.
For whatever reason planning too much is not our high point, we like to go by the seat of our pants. But now that we are 26 days closer we are scrambling around trying to figure out everything.
We definately want to have the band perform, serve some Mudslides at the bar, help put up everything dome, stage, ect. Some of our friends have a couple of art cars that were on the Playa last year, and they will be around too. We are also going to bring our huge Tipi if it gets here in time.Alesha told me last night that a concern is gas for the generators, so we will make sure to bring some up. Also we are working on bringing up another set of decks for the dome, since we have about 4 DJs in our crew. We also have 3+ fire spinners.
We should discuss all these issues on this post or on The Llama Tribe here on Tribe. So feel free to join.
I just did a head count and so far I have 31 people cruising up with us.

Yo yo, You Bumpinly Buddhaful Danze Freakz!

Come check out the wickid fun at the L.A. Burningman Decompression Street Faire, this Saturday, October 15, from 12 pm, till Midnight.

Below you will find the schedule for the Breaks stage. Also when the Decom is over, come by Space Island for more danze madnezz. The afta pawty will go past dawn, then drive out to the Moontribe gathering, then dance for another 48 hours, then...hehe. Kinda reminds you of your schedule on the Playa, don't it. ;).

Now for a little shameless self-promotion. Please note that I will be spinning on the L.A. Decom's Space Island Stage at 5:45 pm.

I promise you a set of non-stop beautiful funky ass breaks with tribal and ethnik riddyms on top. No matter what musical planet you come from, I guarantee, you will danze!!! Jes doin ma job, baybay. ;)

OK..I was prowlin' Tribe and happened upon the Buddha Tribe! I about fell outta my chair....On the playa last year, a good friend and myself had been groovin' all over and around the Bumpin' Buddha. He knew one of the guys involved and they let us climb up top...a bit later I was dancin below and my friend Brian was on top dancin his a** off and he feel over, did a complete header into the playa dust! Everyone freaked as we all thought the guy musta died! A bunch of us ran over and as we approached Brian popped right up, smiling like he meant to do it! The scene is etched into my mind despite all the chemically induced reasons why I shouldn't even remember it! Just a thanks from a fan!
