Does anyone have any cool Camping ideas for Hawaii?

My choices are Oahu or Maui, or I can pay a bit more for other islands. I will also be for sure heading to Kauai but I will be in a hotel. Does anyone have any suggestions for cool camping spot for new years and the week following on the other islands? thanks!
